The Best “Funnel” Out There

Branding, eCommerce, Online Business

Hello again from Brussels.

Tomorrow, I’ll be heading out to Frankfurt to catch my flight to Seattle, and I’m sincerely, sincerely hoping I don’t get stranded there due to the Frankfurt airport strike on Tuesday. Honestly, I’ve been through that airport twice in my life. My first trip ever to Europe, and another time when on the way to Croatia.

So next week will be my third.

And, assuming the strike goes through, it’ll also be the second time I’ve been through whilst strikes are going on.

I mean, what are the odds of THAT?

Three times in an airport and there’s strikes for two of them?

Unreal.

Anyways, on to today’s question…

Fellow “Kyle” Milligan asked recently in my free Facebook group the following question:

What’s your favorite “funnel program” for taking payments and auto-delivering fulfillments?

Will just be delivering a pdf for now, would like functionality to add a one-click upsell video series.

Only thing on my radar is clickfunnels, but I’m sure there are good alternatives I don’t know about too.

So, here’s the thing…

It’s an ever evolving industry that changes from year to year on who is best, who is in, and who is out. One company comes out with something innovative, it’s buggy as all hell at first, and after they get their act together other people start copying them.

Just how it is.

That said, I’ve personally used just about all of them.

From Thrive Themes to ClickFunnels to Leadpages, and I’ve used them all at different times, too. At the current moment, after several years over at CF, I’ve moved back to LP and couldn’t be happier with the way things are going there. And of course, I dig Thrive.

That said:

What’s most important is just working with tools that you like and WILL USE.

No sense in paying $100/month if you’re never going to login and take advantage of them, ya know…

But, the real point I’m going to make today is this:

You don’t NEED anything in order to get started. Sure, fancy tools are nice and all, but if you’re a beginner, they’re more stress than they’re worth. In fact, you would be better served by mastering the basics (something like copywriting, design, SEO, traffic), and then using those tools to scale your skills into something even bigger and better.

The fundamentals though?

They’re rarely sexy, which is why people ignore them in favor of fancy tools, only to get overwhelmed by those tools, and never make enough money to pay them back to begin with.

Anyways, that’s Yours Troubly’s honest, no-filter opinion which as usual you can take or set fire to.

I also did a podcast about membership software (funnels sort of fall under this) that also might be useful. Give it a listen below:
