This seems to be as good of a time as any to say that — WOW.

This has been a tremendous amount of work over the past year for Martin, and just a few months for Kyle. It was about this time last fall that we were sitting out an outdoor restaurant in Prague — Luka Lu — chowing down on Balkan sausage, cheese, and brandy. We were preparing to say goodbye to each other, as Martin was leaving his corporate job, heading down to the harvest, and then heading back to Canada.

We had no idea at the time we would end up where we are today.

This was after a summer where we’d actually worked together on a mobile app for Kyle’s main website, that never quite materalized. But, we worked well together. And it’s fitting that we’re both now moved out of Prague, and moved on to other chapters of our lives — including, of course, this company.

And while this certainly has many more steps, headaches, and pains than we ever imagined (especially compared to digital products!), it’s awesome to see it finally hitting the market.

From the Adriatic coastal Selo to your dining room table.

From the café sidewalks of Prague to where we are today.

Thank you for being with us.

We hope you enjoy the Selo Story:

Sincerely, and Živeli (cheers),
Martin & Kyle
