Inside this month’s newsletter, I’m talking about some things that are long-term plays.
What do I mean?
I’m glad you asked…
First, let’s rap business.
I’ve been doing this whole thing for nearly six years now. And I still am enjoying it. But, there is something to the fact that I basically *am* the business. I never really wanted to get famous. I have a hard time doing social media. I just like to write.
And, I came to the realization that…
What’s left when I’m gone?
The business would just die.
Which is what really inspired me about Selo Oils, my Croatian olive oil company I run with my business partner Martin. I saw it as a long-term play. Something he and I could work on until we died, and then pass on to children (or make a lucrative exit on). And so far, it’s going that direction. Selo Oils is a long-term business that can (and will) survive without me, at one point in the future.
We’ve sold nearly 700 bottles of olive oil at this point, and at the price tag, that’s no small feat…
Speaking of family and children:
It’s certainly something that has crossed my mind.
Which is why, in this month’s edition, I’m also breaking down what’s worked and what hasn’t in my current long-term relationship, which just flew by it’s three year mark.
That’s an eternity in today’s world…
There’s a raging debate on social media lately about whether or not “camgirls” are worthy of:
One, dating on a casual level.
Here’s my un-assed-for thoughts:
Most guys are kidding themselves if they say they wouldn’t date a cam girl.
(And, a lot of guys are kidding themselves if they think they wouldn’t be stupid enough to marry a cam girl.)
Why WOULDN’T you casually date and hang out with a girl who did cam? You’d get to hear some awesome stories, she’s probably adventurous, you’d hope you’d have really good sex, and it would just be a cool experience.
Granted, there’s a chance she’s crazy, a drug addict, has some insane ex-boyfriend, or another other numerous red flags (h/t to Jamie McSloy for that one)…but you know, you take with the bad with the good or the good with the bad.
Would you bring her home to mom?
But again, a lot of folks are kidding themselves. Hard to stop thinking with your small head when his life’s so good.
And, this next part is important:
Then again, times could change.
Maybe we’ll get there one day, where it’s totally socially acceptable for a girl to do this.
Look how quickly sugar dating became mainstream-accepted. We could see it shift for camming to become acceptable. Not to mention, you could make a pretty solid argument that the girls who do webcam are far more ethical and straightforward than the girls on a sugar dating site…
Chodes are gonna chode, that ain’t going away anytime soon.
Leave your thoughts on camgirls in the comments – would you date one?
