Noble Body Review—The Best Men’s Beard & Face Oils on the Market

I’m seriously impressed these days by anyone who has brought a physical product to market. I had no idea the headaches and hurdles we’d have to clear with Selo Oils. While we were in the process of getting our labels, bottles, and all the other stuff sorted, I got in touch with a guy named “Johnny Noble”. I’m proud to write this Noble Body review and say that Johnny’s expertise in helping us get Selo to market also matches up with the quality of his product itself.

A few months ago, when I was living in Prague, Johnny asked if he could send me some face and beard oils. I’m happy to say, even after moving to Ukraine and having some pretty nippy weather recently, the products are holding up well.

I’m not a “cosmetics kind of guy”. Since I started growing my beard out (some of the longest hairs measure at over 6+ inches now, har har), all I’ve ever done is wash it out with my normal Head&Shoulders shampoo and apply a little coconut oil. Which has worked well enough. But, with this weather, and the cold, it’s definitely been time to step the game up.

I’m proud to say that Noble Body definitely delivers on the beard aspect.

Applying it once or twice a week after a shower is enough to keep the beard straight, moist, shining, and beautiful. I couldn’t recommend the product enough at this point. My only regret is that if I want to stock up, it’ll be an absolute pain in the ass to get some to Ukraine (that’s also the case with everything here—nothing against Noble Body!).

Like I said, my big is larger and more badass than any photo of me that’s on this blog at the moment.

It truly is a wild thing.

My hair, too, which is now down to my shoulders.

I don’t know why I’m doing it, other than the fact that I’ve done so well for myself since leaving the 9-5, I just can’t help but grow hair that would be frowned upon at a typical corporate job. My little “screw you” to corporate America.

Now, The Noble Body Review—Face Oil

This is a little bit of a tougher call.

Growing up in California, I never had too harsh of winters. Nonetheless, in my hometown, it got cold enough to the point my skin would crack/dry—overall, never a pleasant experience. My mom always just gave me Curel lotion to throw on it, which made my face break out and was never a pleasant experience.

But, as an adult, I moved down to Southern California—San Diego and Los Angeles is where I spent years 18-24 of my adult life. Needless to say, I never had a worry about winter there. I’d put lotion on my hands maybe once every two weeks if the temperatures dropped down to (gasp) 60 degrees. But, that was it.

Needless to say, the first time I spent a November and December in Prague, that was a bit of a shock.

And since then, I really haven’t found a way to deal with it, other than grabbing whatever generic face lotion is on the shelf and hoping for the best. It’s not like I could read much Czech, and my Russian (here in Ukraine) is barely above first grade level. That might be generous.

In any case…

The face oil is brilliant.

I’ve been just applying it once a week, and even in the 25 degree (Fahrenheit, mind you) weather, with the Siberian winds whipping in, I’ve been just fine. That once a week application keeps my skin looking good, soft, and not drying out. I have to say, I’m selfishly going to try to hoard this bottle and make it last throughout the winter. With a likely trip back to the States sometime in February, that’ll be the time to stock up.

Noble Body Review—Closing Thoughts

I’ve got nothing but respect for Johnny as a man, and what he’s been able to accomplish. To give up a successful, accomplished career as a lawyer and move into cosmetics of all things…

That takes some serious guts on a man’s part.

But, he’s managed to concoct some amazing products, that even have me re-thinking my entire stance on cosmetics.

And really, I don’t know if I can give a better compliment and recommendation than that.
