Can you be in the top 20% of 14 trillion?

Online Business

1.) Did you know that the military has technology that is TEN YEARS ahead of what we have at a consumer level? Yes, that means that the stuff they used in 2007 is what we’re just getting now.

2.) Also on the note of 2007, Apple makes 2/3s of their money off products released after that year.

3.) There are over 14 trillion webpages on the internet today.

Why am I telling you this?

To illustrate that the times are changing, and changing rapidly. Internet business is only continuing to grow, evolve, and change.

But there is one thing that isn’t going to change (and I’ll get to that in a second).

First though, let’s talk about the 80/20 rule.

If you apply that to the third statistic, about there being 14 trillion webpages (that’s pages, not sites!) in the world, then you can safely assume that roughly 11,200,000,000,000 of those are probably…

…pretty sucky.

It also means that the final 2,800,000,000,000 probably make 80% of any and all money from the internet.

Internet business is hard, but when you look at those numbers – trying to be one of 2.8 trillion doesn’t seem so bad, does it?

In fact, it seems more doable than ever.

Earlier, I mentioned that there was ONE thing that isn’t ever going to change in the world. You know what that is?

The power of information.

People are always going to want to get more information. The only thing that changes is what the information is. If you have that information…awesome!
