Another good thing about Friedrichshain is that when you compare it with the other big areas of Berlin, it is definitely cheaper—and it’s not even close. Well, that’s why it gives off a hipster vibe in the first place.
Friedrichshain is close to the Berlin Wall, East Side Gallery and the Spree River. This means that this area offers a lot of opportunities for you to pick up Berlin girls and tourists alike.
Prenzlauerberg
Think Mitte, but cheaper.
You will find a lot of great apartments here. This district also carries more of a young adult/professional kind of feel to it.

Charlottenburg
Here you will find Europe’s second largest department store, the “The Kaufhaus des Westens”.
