January 2017 Income Report

Yeah, I’m really behind…I’ll try to get February up within a week—I promise!

ICYMI:

WHAT HAPPENED IN JANUARY?

Well, I was…home! Which was an odd feeling at first, simply because when you live like a nomad, you have no real home. I lived with my folks. No real responsibilities. No rent. Was kind of nice, but I was definitely itching to get going again by the end of it.

At the end of January I flew out to Dubrovnik, Croatia. Interesting place. Then it was onward to Montenegro, where I spent most of February. More on that in the February post.

I also decided it was time to shut down Tinder & Texting University as a non-passive income stream. Meaning that I gave everyone who was a member a lifetime access code (for free), and set it to become available as a one-time purchase (click here to learn more).

And, as if I didn’t have enough posts to schedule on my own sites already…

I ended up launching three new sites, all with partners. I am mostly responsible for doing the research and tech stuff, and they’re doing the writing. All three sites are actually doing quite now less than two months into starting, and one of them has already made some decent money within the first few weeks.

So that’s about it. Short post this time, because January really wasn’t all that exciting for me in the grand scheme of things. March is shaping up to be a good month already, though!

AND THE REPORT…

Total income for January was $2,707. The best month I’ve ever had from online business.

Now I just have to double it by this time next year.

Time to get to work.

    Well done!

    Hey Kyle,

I love your income reports. They are really inspiring.

    One question:

Could you break down your individual income streams?

I would love to know how much you make with ebooks, courses, affiliate links, and how much you only make with Thisistrouble.

This would be even more inspiring.

    Hope to hear from you.

    • Kyle Trouble says:

Hey Marius, first off–thank you. For both commenting and I’m glad you find them inspiring.

I’ve thought about doing this, but it would be a bit of work to put all this in and format it nicely. And I’m not sure that I’m really wanting to do that work, to be frank.

The other issue is that I’m not quite sure I want to give away everything…I’m sure you could understand why. But I do talk a bit about how much I make here and there in other posts: https://thisistrouble.com/2017/01/23/how-much-can-you-make-by-self-publishing/

I will go ahead and just tell you that all of the money in these reports comes from ThisIsTrouble or another one of my small niche sites. Ukraine Living made about $200 of the $2,700 in January, for example.

      Best,
      K

Kyle, you more open that most of the bloggers. I respect that. Where’s the report? You mentioned you made $2707, but where is the breakdown, where is the report? How did you make this money? If you know how much you made, you know how it was made.

    • Kyle Trouble says:

Of course I know them, it’s just whether I want to put it all out there, and whether it’s worth the time to make it blog-readable.
