November 2016 Income Report and Recap

The October income report got a lot of traction, so let’s do November. Here’s what was going on in my personal and business life throughout the month!

Alright, first off. November was a little bit crazy.

I decided that my year abroad needed to take two more stops, in Slovakia and Austria. I thought Slovakia was ugly and Austria was beautiful. Let’s show the beautiful photos.

Yes, I took the Ukrainian girl with me and yes she’s still in my life. Doing quite well for herself, I should add.

In any case, I’m usually a big proponent of renting apartments when traveling.

However, for shorter trips I really enjoy the convenience of hotels. It’s nice not having to find some hole-in-the-wall apartment while you don’t have phone service. It’s nice to have fresh sheets and a clean room every day when you’re exploring.

For trips less than 3 days I’m all about hotels—anything longer than that, give me an apartment. After 3 days I’m sick of eating out all the time and not having something that feels “homely”.

So we only spent 2 days in Bratislava and a day and a half in Vienna. In Bratislava, we stayed at the Doubletree hotel. It was a bit out of the way of the city center, but nice enough. They did have probably the best hotel gym I’ve ever seen—it had a real bench press!

I splurged a bit in Vienna and got us a killer hotel. Thanks miles and points! The Park Hyatt Vienna was just God damn stunning.

Vienna was definitely one of my favorite “Western” European cities I’ve been to—though I realize it’s not exactly that Western. But I found it to be far more beautiful than a place like Paris, and just a bit cleaner and nicer than London. I spend most of my time in Eastern European and to compare Vienna to them isn’t fair.

Man,lot happened this month. But, the biggest one was the launch of my new side company, Troublesome Solutions.

This was an idea that had been kicking around in my head for over a year. I’ve been designing websites since I was ten years old. It actually has always been a hobby of mine. Something about putting a beautiful website together just makes me happy. I saw TS as an opportunity to help guys build their own sites, businesses, and dreams.

The best part is that it doesn’t cost them a cent more, I get to make a bit of money, and also get them pointed in the right direction.

How’s it work?

Simple. Buy hosting or buy themes through me. I do the work for you. Everybody wins.

In addition to Troublesome Solutions, I prepared for the launch of King’s Code. I’m happy to report as of writing this (December 15th) that it’s doing quite well in the Amazon rankings. Should be a best-seller by the end of this week, for sure!

So now the part you’ve all been eagerly awaiting for.

Slight drop off from last month (around $70 or so), but nothing too alarming. I did far less promotion in November, and with the launch of Troublesome Solutions and putting the finishing touches on King’s Code took a lot of time and energy. However, now those are set up and will make me money passively for the rest of my life.

And that closes up the loop on November of 2016. I’m obviously a bit late in writing this, but I’ll try to get to December’s a bit faster. I’ll have a lot to share about my business-class trip home and a lot more stuff that’s been happening.

Talk to you in the new year,

Once you make more and become a little more experienced, you could think about creating a course for becoming a blogger or specifically, a travel blogger. Just an idea to think about.

Troublesome Solutions could be big, but you might have to do more promotion.

I do think the travel market is completely oversaturated, but I think I have enough of a twist since my content is edgier. I do like the idea of a course but I also know how much goes into that; i.e. Harem Handbook and T&T University.

Agreed on TSolutions. Everybody wins and I love helping guys. I think it’ll do great for a long time.

    Vienna definitely sounds underated

Inspiring stuff Kyle! Keep it up!

Hey Josh, good to hear from you!

Agreed Vienna isn’t a place I’d want to live but for tourism, definitely a place worth checking out. Assuming Merkel doesn’t totally self-destruct Europe–seems she’s trying her hardest.

      Appreciate the encouragement!
