1 Million Readers – THANK YOU
On May 19th, I hit a milestone I never dreamed would happen.
It all began on July 7th, 2013.
One million people have read This Is Trouble.
What originally started off on a free WordPress blog, titled This Blog Will Get Me In Trouble has taken my life, career, and dreams farther than I ever thought they would.
I am truly flattered and grateful for all of you who have read and supported me for nearly the last three years.
It all started with an article about how girls in college were destroying their potential romantic futures.
I wanted to use the blog as a way to chronicle my dating successes and failures. I’d finally lost my virginity a few months before and wanted to see how I would progress over time.
I was 21, almost 22 then. I’m approaching 25 now. And while the blog has gone through small hiatuses here and there, for the most part I’ve consistently written here, to the tune of nearly 600 blog posts, dozens of podcasts and videos, and “four” books (two of which I’m quite proud of, and 2 of which I would prefer to consider “experimental”).
I’ve coached dozens of men and helped them improve their lives.
I’ve received more emails saying I’ve helped someone with something small or big – more emails than I could ever add up.
I’ve managed to piss off an entire country. (Read the comments)
I’ve left the soul sucking experience of an office job because of this blog.
And none of it would be possible without you.
It started raining on me as I was walking home to write this post. I was returning from lunch with an old friend – whom I actually met through this blog back in April of 2014. I’ve spent time with him in New York, Los Angeles, and now Kiev. It’s pretty cool, situations like that.
But anyways – the rain.
It could get me down.
But there’s no reason to these days.
Because this is the little blog that could. I have no reason not to smile.
Thank you so much. I am forever grateful.
