My Modafinil Experience (How I Wrote a Book in ONE DAY)

My modafinil experience has felt like the movie Limitless.

If not, go watch it. One, it’s a good movie. Two, it’s very relevant to this post.

Once you’re done watching it, ask yourself this – would you like to have the power of NZT, like Eddie? If so, keep reading. Let’s have a conversation about my Modafinil experience.

Disclaimer: I am not a doctor. This is not medical advice. This is solely my own Modafinil experience. Seek out a doctor’s opinion before you do anything.

What Is Modafinil?

Okay, so I have to admit, Modafinil is not as good as NZT is depicted in Limitless. If a drug like that truly exists, it’s hidden in the black market and only reserved for those with billions of dollars in their bank accounts.

But so far, Modafinil is one of the best ways of getting that Limitless high – and the good news is that you can get a prescription from it from your local friendly doctor with a lot of debt and a couple of pieces of paper to show for it.

Modafinil is used for:

Improving wakefulness in patients with excessive sleepiness associated with narcolepsy or other sleep disorders. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Modafinil is a wakefulness-promoting agent. Exactly how it works is not known, but it is thought to work by altering the natural chemicals (neurotransmitters) in the brain.

What Does Modafinil Do?

While the description I copied above highlights sleep issues and wakefulness, the true power of Modafinil is in the unwavering focus it gives you. It’s absolutely incredible. Once you pop a Modafinil, you are just a man on a mission.

For example, in one Modafinil experience day, I built my entire niche site and wrote eight articles for it. I also cranked out a couple blog posts for This Is Trouble.

Another example: I wrote the 25,000 words of the first draft of The Harem Handbook & System in one Modafinil day. Now, it’s important to note that I already had the outline done and had already started writing. I did not come up with the idea and write 25,000 words in the same day.

But 25,000 words is a lot.

To give a bit of perspective, most blog posts here are between 1,000-2,000 words, and they’re all on different topics. It’s easy to just wrap it up if you have nothing more to say. And of course, it’s very easy sometimes to just write list posts. The Harem Handbook is insanely detailed and is a testament to what you can if you truly focus on one task.

Multitasking is a myth.

But yes, Modafinil will definitely keep you awake, for a very, very long time.

How I’ve Structured My Modafinil Experience

I wake up by 7am, brew my coffee, and wash down a Modafinil pill – only 100mg as I don’t seem to need a higher dose. I do not consume any food. Within thirty minutes, I can feel the focus of Modafinil coming on. It’s hard to describe it, but if I had to come up with a way to…it just feels like you must do something. You must focus. If you are aimless, you will feel borderline twitchy and irritable.

By 7:30am I’m at the computer, locked and focused.

The Modafinil experience is about to start.

I do not eat at all, but I will consume another cup or two of coffee throughout the day to help curb my appetite. From experience, coffee doesn’t seem to enhance or negate the effects of Modafinil.

I will say this, Modafinil tends to make your mind sharp, but sometimes your body can still feel creaky, or sluggish. The caffeine can help with this, but it also might just be a placebo effect that I’ve experienced.

I basically work until I feel like I can’t take anymore. This is usually around 5-7pm at night, almost twelve hours later. More often than not, it’s my body that gives out before my mind; my wrists, neck, and back start to hurt from sitting at a desk all day. I will not have eaten anything at this point, so I’ll usually just have a small snack to get something in my system and hit the gym. If you cut yourself off from the grind a little early and hit the gym before the Modafinil experience runs out, your workout will be a beast, I can promise you this.

I highly recommend you do a workout. Use exercise as a way to come down from your Modafinil experience. After your workout, have a big meal. It’ll get you the nutrients you need, as well as stave off the “Modafinil hangover” that some people are prone to having. I personally haven’t experienced this because I’ve made sure to eat big at the end of the day every time I’ve taken Modafinil.

My Modafinil experience has been so powerful, there have been times I have been so locked in and focused, that I practically didn’t realize I had to piss. I’m not kidding, I’ve nearly pissed myself while running to the bathroom because the only thing that mattered was getting shit done while on Modafinil.

Is Modafinil Legal?

Here’s the catch.

No, it’s not legal in the US without a prescription. Silly, but true.

You can get a prescription from your doctor but they may or may not write one for you. And even then, it’s a tossup as to whether or not your insurance will cover it at a reasonable cost. I got fortunate on both of these aspects.

I have a post coming out next week about how to convince your doctor to give you one, so stay tuned for that.

There is an alternative to Modafinil called Adrafinil, which basically turns into Modafinil once your liver processes it.

You can read my review of Adrafinil here.

Where To Buy Modafinil?

If you decide it’s worth hunting down from a reputable source, you can’t go wrong with Afinil Express.

I’ve tried the pills myself and they work just as well as the Rx ones.

You can buy Modafinil here.

Modafinil Bottom Line

  • Modafinil is designed for sleep problems but works as a focus drug
  • I use 100mg of Modafinil and can focus for twelve hours
  • Work out at the end of the day, and eat a big meal to fight off any potential hangovers
  • Modafinil is not legal in the United States. Check out Adrafinil for an alternative.

Have you tried Modafinil? If so, what was your experience?

How much better is it than Adrafinil?

BTW, the Adrafinil worked a lot better for me when I took two with a cup of coffee or two.

    • It hits you faster, but the effect for me is about the same – Moda is probably a bit stronger, but not much (I’d say if I had to quantify it, I’d say 10%.)

Like I said though, main difference is that you feel the Moda within twenty or thirty minutes.

Glad to hear round 2 went better!

Modafinil has changed my life and all for good. I’ve been topping my class and I can’t thank modafinilworld . com enough! The customer care representative helped me choose the right product and offered me a great deal (it matters a lot since I’m a student). Modafinil rocks!

Anything above 10,000 words and you’re approaching deity writing status. IN – Sane!
That’s a level of productivity I would walk across hot coals for. But why would I do that when I can just pick up this pill? Honestly, I probably won’t pick up Modafinil. I’ll probably avoid it. As it is I’m a bit of a workaholic. If I’m honest with myself, I know if I got hold of something like this I would abuse it. I never tried Adderall for the same reason and I have a masters in accounting and knocked out the CPA exam while working full time in public accounting. If Modafinil works like you say, it would probably tear my life apart.

    • I’m a workaholic too, and it’s funny because I really have not had a problem not abusing it. Plus, it can lose its effect after too much. Once or twice a week is plenty for me.

But seriously, it’s worth it because it just makes you fucking smarter and more focused. You might as well make the most of the workaholicism.

Hi Kyle – did you break the tablet into a smaller portion?

I had read that Modafinil can cause discomfort when caffeine is consumed so it’s interesting to read you had the opposite experience.

I bought a single tablet off of AlphaBay (back before it was closed down) on the deep web and was considering trying some more. Thanks for the link – I’ll check it out!

    • Kyle Trouble says:

I would start with 100mg, you can get pills that size but they’re usually 200.

Take a sharp knife and just slice it down the middle.

Hi Kyle, thanks. Great results trying the products from the affiliate link.

Very nice! Honestly I was surprised how well that helped me doing work online and for projects.

I am using Modalert for the past three months. I wanted to share some of my experiences while on medication. I am not diagnosed with any sort of illness. Daytime sleepiness was something which bothered me for a long time. Headaches and anxiety was part of my life as i had a very demanding job. The concentration levels started to dip. I was not being able to be productive as before.

Apart from these all, i wanted to get rid of the tiredness on my face. There were times when the office was like my bedroom. I tried antidepressants like Prozac and Celexa. The outcome was not like which i wished. While browsing the web, I came across Modalert. I went ahead with buying from Nootromeds.com after examining the pros and cons of the drug.

Initially, i started taking higher dosages as i wanted to treat my condition as soon as possible. But that backfired. The first few days, i concentrated on taking 400mg pills daily without any break cycle. Though it energized me and helped to stay awake, there were slight side effects. The day which I would consume the drug would be productive, but the next morning would be full of headaches and muscle pains. To reduce this, I took 400mg pills the next day too. But it intensified due to high dosages.

After one week, I decided to cut down the dosages and the results were gratifying. I started taking 200mg pills. Coffee was my supplement along with Modalert as both complimented each other very well. I maintained a sleeping pattern which resulted in effective returns. Now let me tell you some of the reality of the Modalert or Modafinil. It is just a tool for sleep apnea, not a solution. Taking it beyond its prescription will only harm your body. So take the pills only according to the tolerance to the drug. If you get any side effects, immediately consult your doctor to get a proper treatment. When I started using it the correct way along with proper rest, the results were much better.
