My Modafinil Experience (How I Wrote a Book in ONE DAY)

My modafinil experience has felt like the movie Limitless.

If not, go watch it. One, it’s a good movie. Two, it’s very relevant to this post.

Once you’re done watching it, ask yourself this – would you like to have the power of NZT, like Eddie? If so, keep reading. Let’s have a conversation about my Modafinil experience.

Disclaimer: I am not a doctor. This is not medical advice. This is solely my own Modafinil experience. Seek out a doctor’s opinion before you do anything.

What Is Modafinil?

Okay, so I have to admit, Modafinil is not as good as NZT is depicted in Limitless. If a drug like that truly exists, it’s hidden in the black market and only reserved for those with billions of dollars in their bank accounts.

But so far, Modafinil is one of the best ways of getting that Limitless high – and the good news is that you can get a prescription from it from your local friendly doctor with a lot of debt and a couple of pieces of paper to show for it.

Modafinil is used for:

Improving wakefulness in patients with excessive sleepiness associated with narcolepsy or other sleep disorders. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Modafinil is a wakefulness-promoting agent. Exactly how it works is not known, but it is thought to work by altering the natural chemicals (neurotransmitters) in the brain.

What Does Modafinil Do?

While the description I copied above highlights sleep issues and wakefulness, the true power of Modafinil is in the unwavering focus it gives you. It’s absolutely incredible. Once you pop a Modafinil, you are just a man on a mission.

For example, in one Modafinil experience day, I built my entire niche site and wrote eight articles for it. I also cranked out a couple blog posts for This Is Trouble.

Another example: I wrote the 25,000 words of the first draft of The Harem Handbook & System in one Modafinil day. Now, it’s important to note that I already had the outline done and had already started writing. I did not come up with the idea and write 25,000 words in the same day.

But 25,000 words is a lot.

To give a bit of perspective, most blog posts here are between 1,000-2,000 words, and they’re all on different topics. It’s easy to just wrap it up if you have nothing more to say. And of course, it’s very easy sometimes to just write list posts. The Harem Handbook is insanely detailed and is a testament to what you can if you truly focus on one task.

Multitasking is a myth.

But yes, Modafinil will definitely keep you awake, for a very, very long time.

How I’ve Structured My Modafinil Experience

I wake up by 7am, brew my coffee, and wash down a Modafinil pill – only 100mg as I don’t seem to need a higher dose. I do not consume any food. Within thirty minutes, I can feel the focus of Modafinil coming on. It’s hard to describe it, but if I had to come up with a way to…it just feels like you must do something. You must focus. If you are aimless, you will feel borderline twitchy and irritable.

By 7:30am I’m at the computer, locked and focused.

The Modafinil experience is about to start.

I do not eat at all, but I will consume another cup or two of coffee throughout the day to help curb my appetite. From experience, coffee doesn’t seem to enhance or negate the effects of Modafinil.

I will say this, Modafinil tends to make your mind sharp, but sometimes your body can still feel creaky, or sluggish. The caffeine can help with this, but it also might just be a placebo effect that I’ve experienced.

I basically work until I feel like I can’t take anymore. This is usually around 5-7pm at night, almost twelve hours later. More often than not, it’s my body that gives out before my mind; my wrists, neck, and back start to hurt from sitting at a desk all day. I will not have eaten anything at this point, so I’ll usually just have a small snack to get something in my system and hit the gym. If you cut yourself off from the grind a little early and hit the gym before the Modafinil experience runs out, your workout will be a beast, I can promise you this.

I highly recommend you do a workout. Use exercise as a way to come down from your Modafinil experience. After your workout, have a big meal. It’ll get you the nutrients you need, as well as stave off the “Modafinil hangover” that some people are prone to having. I personally haven’t experienced this because I’ve made sure to eat big at the end of the day every time I’ve taken Modafinil.

My Modafinil experience has been so powerful, there have been times I have been so locked in and focused, that I practically didn’t realize I had to piss. I’m not kidding, I’ve nearly pissed myself while running to the bathroom because the only thing that mattered was getting shit done while on Modafinil.

Is Modafinil Legal?

Here’s the catch.

No, it’s not legal in the US without a prescription. Silly, but true.

You can get a prescription from your doctor but they may or may not write one for you. And even then, it’s a tossup as to whether or not your insurance will cover it at a reasonable cost. I got fortunate on both of these aspects.

I have a post coming out next week about how to convince your doctor to give you one, so stay tuned for that.

There is an alternative to Modafinil called Adrafinil, which basically turns into Modafinil once your liver processes it.

You can read my review of Adrafinil here.

Where To Buy Modafinil?

If you decide it’s worth hunting down from a reputable source, you can’t go wrong with Afinil Express.

I’ve tried the pills myself and they work just as well as the Rx ones.

You can buy Modafinil here.

Modafinil Bottom Line

  • Modafinil is designed for sleep problems but works as a focus drug
  • I use 100mg of Modafinil and can focus for twelve hours
  • Work out at the end of the day, and eat a big meal to fight off any potential hangovers
  • Modafinil is not legal in the United States. Check out Adrafinil for an alternative.

Have you tried Modafinil? If so, what was your experience?
