The Journey to Poland

New post up over at Bachelor Travels with some pictures and details of my journey to Poland. Click here to check it out.

Also…I made my first approach at 8:30am this morning (the one with her back to me here was a beauty, the one in the side profile was bleh) while trying to find a store that sold SIM cards. While I didn’t knock this one out of the park, there’s plenty more trouble to come.

Congrats on the move. I visited Warsaw while on layover. Definitely wanna give that city and the country some travel time. I was impressed how Warsaw is a lot better than I expected (given its history as a formerly under Soviet Russian control). Very cool to check out the Easter bloc, um, architecture.

Let us know if an Eastern European country like Poland has race issues, e.g. skinheads, etc. You sorta look like a non-white so I wonder if you will face racism generally in a relatively homogeneous population…

    • Thank you! I am really enjoying it so far, Kraków is gorgeous and I couldn’t be happier with the choice to come here.

No race issues so far, and doubt I will run into any. They like Americans fine.

They are definitely not very happy with the refugee status in Europe though.
